The 8oz round bottom Drosophila bottles are precision molded from pure, virgin medical grade polypropylene. Polypropylene bottles are fully autoclavable and reusable, yet resonably priced to be disposable. These high-quality bottles are thoughtfully designed with thin walls for the best visibility and graduation marks that are useful for pouring Drosophila media. The round bottle has an indent on the bottom for securing the fly food making them extremely easy to use when flipping flies.

The fly bottle openings are engineered to accept any standard size closure including paper lids, foam Droso-plugs®, cotton balls, rayon balls and Flugs®.
