Detailed Description
This thin paper with medium flow rate is the world standard in paper chromatography. The smooth, uniform white surface provides good resolution. Ahlstrom 601 is also used as a gel drying support and as a spacer in capillary and electroblotting sandwiches. Thin papers are 100% pure cotton grades that are used in chromatography techniques where solute loading is not heavy. Ahlstrom thin series papers are ideal for general separations and for use as spacers in gel transfer techniques.
