Detailed Description
Our durable Drosophila trays and dividers are designed to efficiently organize and manage Drosophila vials and bottles. Trays come in a variety of materials, including corrugated plastic, cardboard, aluminum and stainless steel.
Our corrugated plastic trays are impervious to moisture; inert to nearly all acids, chemicals, detergents, grease & oils; and withstand temperatures between –28°C and 110°C. Made of extruded twin-wall high impact polypropylene co-polymer resins, not only are these trays lighter than common cardboard trays, they offer a 10-fold strength advantage which significantly increases structural integrity and decreases “edge crush.”
If you use narrow vials and are looking for a plastic alternative to cardboard trays, please view our narrow fly vial reload trays, cat # 59-207. These trays can be utilized when racking vials from bulk or with our patented fly vial reloads, cat #s 32-109RL (polystyrene) and 32-113RL (polypropylene).
