2XYT MICROBIAL MEDIUM 2xYT Broth is a liquid medium used for cultivating recombinant strains of Escherichia coli. Enzymatic Digest of Casein provides nitrogenous sources like amino acids and peptides. Yeast Extract supplies B-complex vitamins and minerals. Sodium Chloride maintains the osmotic balance.
