The popular Z216 Microcentrifuge series are known for being compact, quiet and powerful. Its versatile eleven rotor options accept all common microtubes (0.2ml, 0.5ml, 1.5ml, 2ml, 5ml) as well as PCR strips and hematocrit tubes. Two unique rotors are created specifically to hold higher capacities than your average benchtop centrifuge. One of the rotors is a 44 x 1.5ml dual row rotor while the other is a combination rotor that holds both 24 x 1.5/2.0ml and 4 x PCR strips. Select rotors also feature a convenient Quick-Seal™ lid which locks with just a quarter turn. Each Z216 tabletop centrifuge comes with a large LCD display and advanced microprocessor controls. Settings include displaying rotational speed in either rpm or rcf; saving and retrieving programs; adjustable acceleration/deceleration rates and changing the end of alarm tone.
