Methylamine solution may be used as a LC-MS/MS mobile phase in the perchlorate analysis of milk and yogurt samples. It may be used in the synthesis of the following: 9-fluorenylmethyl N-methylcarbamate and tert-butyl N-methylcarbamate, 7-methylamino-2-(2-quinolyl)tropone and 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-N-methylacetamide.
