This unique new freezer box has been designed to maximize storage capacity for PCR tubes. With 196 wells on each level, it can accommodate 392 individual 0.1ml or 0.2ml tubes. For strip tubes, the box handles 40 strips of 8 or 28 strips of 12. The top level is a cardboard tray with two finger grips that allow easy access to the lower level. The two level system doubles the capacity while keeping the total box height under 2 inches (51mm) and assuring a good fit in standard height stainless steel racks.
