Penicillin-Streptomycin acts in two ways. Penicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis. While, streptomycin inhibits prokaryote protein synthesis by preventing the transition from initiation complex to chain-elongating ribosome, causing miscoding.

100X concentration of mixture of penicillin and streptomycin. This solution contains 10,000 units/mL of penicillin and 10,000 µg/mL of streptomycin.
