Return Policy

Genesee Scientific accepts returns for unused, resalable products in original packaging. A 20% restock fee applies if the return is not due to our error. Customers cover return shipping costs. Returns due to our error have no fee, and we provide UPS prepaid labels. Equipment must be returned within 30 days, consumables within 60 days. For damaged or defective items, email a photo to our Customer Service. All returns must be coordinated with our Customer Service Department.

To maintain accuracy in our invoicing, accounting records, and inventory, we do not offer exchanges. If you wish to replace a product, we will coordinate the return of the original item, and you may place a new order for the desired product.
A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the credit/refund if the return is not due to an error on Genesee's part. The customer is also responsible for shipping the product back to our warehouse.
We will issue a credit/refund to the original method of payment within 48 hours of receiving the return in resalable condition.
You can view web order invoices by logging into your Genesee Account under "Invoice." For assistance, please contact Customer Service at 800.789.5550 ext 2 or email support@geneseesci.com. If you would like to enroll in paperless invoice delivery, we can set that up for you as well.

Remittance advice should be sent to eft@geneseesci.com. Invoices can be paid via wire transfer, ACH, check, or credit card. Please note that credit card payments are not accepted for invoices issued with credit terms.
You can request an account from the Login button on the top, right corner of the Genesee main page. Our Customer Service team will review and approve accounts within 24 hours of request. If you need to place an immediate order while you are waiting for account removal, you can use our Guest Checkout feature on our website. Guest Checkout orders must be paid via credit card.
Once your new account is set up, you will be linked with your dedicated Salesperson who will be able to provide you with quotes/hot lists.
