Detailed Description
Safetyspace® Filter Tips leave more space between the sample and the filter than conventional filter tips, allowing the use of any pipetting technique without the risk of your precious sample absorbing in the filter. This ensures 100% sample recovery, greater accuracy and helps produce repeatable, reproducible results. These filter tips are certified free of DNase, RNase, human DNA and endotoxins. Safetyspace® Filter Tips are made of virgin polypropylene. The filter is made of pure polyethylene and does not include any self-sealing additives. Aerosol barrier, protection from contamination and certified purity make these filter tips ideal for applications in molecular biology, microbiology, cell cultivation and radioactive lab work.

The Safetyspace® Filter Tips’ unique additional space between sample and filter makes them particularly useful in a variety of other applications. These filter tips are particularly useful in pipetting foaming liquids such as buffers and proteins, pipetting solvents, multiple dispensing functions of electronic pipettes, reverse pipetting and any other application requiring extra space in the tip. Not only does the air gap between sample and filter prevent liquid from touching and permeating the filter, but it also reduces the risk of contaminating the internal components of your pipettes. In other words, the air gap protects your pipette, prolongs its life and prolongs maintenance intervals.
