The Flystuff pistol grip blowgun offers variable flow control and is lightweight, ergonomic and the perfect complement to any CO2 anesthetizing apparatus. The blowgun allows researchers to easily pre-anesthesize flies while they are in the bottle or vial prior to placing them on the Flypad. The trigger is extremely easy to use and allows the user to control the amount of carbon dioxide released while also conserving CO2 compared to continuous flow systems. The output is a 0.052" stainless steel needle tip with a nickel plated brass base. The needle length measures 1 3/16” in length, which is ideal for use with cotton, rayon, Droso-Plugs® or Flugs®. The barbed input is solid brass and fits any 1/8" ID tubing.
This blowgun works perfect with any CO2 anesthetizing apparatus. Provided with coiled tubing and one 0.05 x 1 3/16” needle.
