ENZ-Free Solution is a proprietary, non-enzymatic solution specially formulated for the non-destructive detachment of adherent cells from culture vessel surfaces. ENZ-Free is a gentle dissociation of mammalian cells for studies requiring intact cell surface proteins such as ligand binding, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry. Recommended for detaching adherent cells growing in serum free conditions.
ENZ-Free works well with lightly adherent cell lines such as HeLa and NIH 3T3, but is not recommended for routine passage of strongly adherent cells. ENZ-Free is a membrane-filtered, isotonic, and enzyme-free solution of salts, chelating agents, and cell-conditioning agents in Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) without calcium and magnesium.
