Dan Monahan
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dan Monahan joined Genesee Scientific as the CEO in 2024. He is a global business leader with experience in manufacturing and distribution within life sciences.
Prior to joining Genesee Scientific, Dan served as the CEO and President at NMS Labs, leading a network of clinical and forensic toxicology labs. At NMS, Dan helped grow the business through strategic investments in sales, marketing, and operational capabilities. Dan has also held several key leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Life Technologies. These included leadership roles in the Fisher Scientific distribution business, Unity lab Services and the life science products business that was formerly Life Technologies.
Dan received his MBA from Harvard’s School of Business. He also attended Illinois Institute of Technology where he completed a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. In his free time, Dan plays guitar in a local rock cover band and enjoys staying active and traveling with his wife and three children. -

Dean Rossi joined Genesee Scientific as the CFO in 2024 and is a financial leader with a proven track record of driving growth through strategic planning, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. He focuses on building high-performing teams and optimizing internal processes to empower growth.
Before joining Genesee, Dean held senior finance roles in private equity-backed companies, leading multiple acquisitions and successful exits. His expertise spans international finance, business transformation, and implementing scalable, automated solutions to support long-term success.
His approach to finance is deeply people-centric, and he always seeks ways to elevate performance and culture. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time in the kitchen entertaining family and friends.
